A few Tidbits for Tuesday

Hello all,

In Humanities class students are learning about ancient Athens and working hard with new concepts and vocabulary.  We are learning about the class system and how democracy began. Many students are catching up on vocabulary cards that were done hastily and have asked for a link to the text book. The chapter we are studying can be found if you type the following into your browser:

We have also be practicing longitude and latitude.  There are several games online if you search, but as promised, this is the one we used in class.

There are a few new words being added to their vocab list;
ostracism, agenda, lottery, epic, foreigner, Boule/Council of 500


Also, a reminder that orders for the Holiday Catalogue fundraiser are due back to school on Wednesday, so this is a quick turn around!
